With nearly 40 years of law enforcement experience, former chief of police Tony Taylor is a man who has dedicated his life to helping others.

Tony joins Mike and Brent for a discussion about community policing, positive outcomes, and how it’s important that officers see their role as more than just a job.

Recently retired from policing, he also talks about his continued focus on sharing knowledge through speaking engagements and training.

Tony C Taylor has nearly 40 years of service as a member of law enforcement.

Taylor is the former chief of police for the Williamston Police Department in Williamston, South Carolina. He held that role from 2013 until July 2022.

Previously, Taylor served as an advanced instructor in gang enforcement and other police training topics at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.

He has also had a long career with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office serving on the gang task force with the Federal Bureau of ATF.

Taylor has many professional accomplishments including being a recipient of the Order of the Palmetto and serving as a member of the SC Law Enforcement Training Council.
